Short But Oh So Sweet
Foxton Canyon is one of the shortest dirt roads on the website. But, because of it’s amazing scenery and the roads and trails nearby, it’s one of our favorites. You’ll see rock spires, giant boulders and granite domes, a long abandoned hotel and some of the best blue-ribbon trout fishing in Colorado.
A Short But Sweet Shortcut
Not a long trail, but fun to ride and a great connector from Rampart Range to Highway 67. Use this trail with one of the many other trails in this area for a great day trip.
A Smooth Climb Into Rampart Range – Climb from the foothills into the Rampart Range on this gentle giant of a road. Huge granite boulders and Pikes Peak views are around just about every corner.
From Georgetown to Idaho Springs, But Not On I-70
Zig zag up and out of Georgetown to the top of Saxon Mountain and then find your way down to Idaho Springs over 4,000 feet below.
