Beaver Creek Trail Introduction: Beaver Creek Trail heads into the Pike National Forest starting in the trees, it rolls downhill over erosion mounds tempting you to get airborne. Several stream crossings keep your feet cool and rinse the dust off your rims. After a sharp right turn in some soft sand, the trail climbs almost a thousand feet in just over 2.5 miles bringing you to a ridge with spectacular views of the surrounding mountains.
