Gross Reservoir Trail Introduction: The Gross Reservoir Trail is a great hidden gem of a road tucked away in the lower North Front Range foothills. Just southwest of Boulder, the Gross Dam creates the Gross Reservoir, a strategic water reclamation project of Denver Water. This road provides access to the dam for maintenance staff and people coming to enjoy the recreational activities such as fishing and picnicking.
