Johnny Park Trail Introduction: Johnny Park Trail cuts through an island of wilderness created by Highway 36 in the northeast and Highway 7 around the south and west. Unlike most of the other trails on this site, which I had researched prior to riding, I stumbled onto this trail by accident. I was looking for a through route from Allenspark/Meeker Park to Estes Park. I didn’t realize, however, that the floods of 2013 had severed that through route on Pierson Park Road. So while I was in the area, I decided to explore a bit and came across Johnny Park Road. And I’m sure glad I did.
